Copyright Notice
Journal Retains Copyright. The author transfers the copyright to the journal.
As a traditional, subscription-based journal, 4A journal retains the copyright of all of its published contents. The author transfers the copyright and the associated rights along with it to the journal. This means 4A Journal is the authoritative right holder for all of its published articles. The journal can elect to license back certain rights to the author.
4A Journal does not need to seek permission from authors to do various activities with the article (e.g. republish in an edited book, etc.). Since the journal is the 'owner' of the published articles, any permissions that outside users seek for the article come through the journal.
This copyright notice would appear during the journal's online submission process, and the author(s) need to transfer the copyright to the journal by checking the point. Alternately, in the case of email submission, it would be drafted into a document for the author to sign. The copyright transfer form would be sent to the corresponding author upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication.
Plagiarism is strictly condemned and papers found to be plagiarized will be removed or not published in the 4A Journal. While signing the copyright transfer and agreement the author(s) have to warrant that the article and associated materials are original and do not infringe the copyright of anyone. Also, the authors have to warrant that there was a full consensus of all the authors that the paper was neither submitted nor published previously.
